Configuring ScreenFlow Helper Recording Options

Each time you start ScreenFlow, ScreenFlow also launches ScreenFlow Helper (the menu is displayed in the automatically displays the Configure Recording window to help you begin recording media for your screencast. You can also display the Configure Recording window from ScreenFlow Helper > Configure Recording or select File > New Recording.

When you stop recording, you can add these new clips to a new document, or you can add them to one of the topmost ScreenFlow documents that are already open. If this is the first recording session, ScreenFlow starts a new recording project and displays a new, untitled ScreenFlow document. (To add subsequent recordings, see Adding A Recording.)
