BXF 6.0

Scheduled for release to production on 9/24/19

Extreme Reach will be upgrading from BXF 5.0 to 6.0 on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at around 9 AM ET. If you’re not currently validating the files, the upgrade should be transparent to you. If you’re validating BXF files, please be aware that the year will change from 2017 to 2018 in the header:

• “Commercial” is now a valid AdType
• voiceOver="false" under Audio for content that only has music
• dualMono="true" under MPEGLayerIIAudio for dual mono content
• lang=”eng” under MPEGLayerIIAudio for English content
• lang=”spa” under MPEGLayerIIAudio for Spanish content
• lang=”fra” under MPEGLayerIIAudio for French content
• centerCutProtected=”true” under Video for center cut protected content
• nativeFrameRate="23.98" under Video for content that originated from a 23.98 fps master
• stationCount=”X” under JobPerformers that tells you how many of your destinations were on the order
