In part 2 of "Captioning in an Automated Workflow" we will explore new tools that will further help streamline the captioning and subtitling process for broadcasters. While working with an increasing number of video files, professionals can benefit from custom automated workflows designed to delivery specific captioning and subtitling to meet TV and OTT requirements.
These workflows must also include decision making, analysis, and QC to help delivery with very tight deadlines. In addition, an API can be used to develop a way to submit files for captioning and kick off delivery and transcoding workflows.
Advanced HEVC Encoding Considerations
Modern video consumption presents a continuous drive for ever more efficient file formats that can deliver diverse and high-quality video services. HEVC (or H.265) is the latest advancement in video coding which promises significant quality improvements and bit rate savings.
Video Workflow Management
As organizations turn more and more to video as the vehicle for communications and analysis, their video departments are facing enormous change in the way that they do business. Traditional islands of processing
system architectures are being overwhelmed by the demand for content.
